Flexible seating supports students in focusing their bodies, and therefore minds, throughout the school day. Making sure students are comfortable is an essential component in motivating them. All my students have experienced trauma due to Covid, some more than others. Ensuring that my students are comfortable, feel empowered, and focused is so essential this year. Furthermore, IPads are an essential classroom tool this year, more than ever. IPads are such valuable tools to provide intervention and enrichment to my classroom of various abilities. Due to the last 1.5 years of diverse educational settings experienced by my students during COVID, I am seeing a wider range than usual in students' skills and knowledge. IPads help me meet the abilities and needs of this wider range. With IPads, I can provide kids additional reading and math practice to close the gaps in their learning. Furthermore, IPads provide enrichment for students who are ahead of their class in their learning, as they are a quiet and engaging "when finished" activity.
