In our school, scholars earn an Eagle Buck for being respectful, responsible, and being safe inside and outside the classroom. My 2nd graders have been working hard on making awesome choices in behavior and learning throughout the school day. They are super committed to doing their best in school so they can be successful and be excellent learners.
Now that my students are earning "Eagle Bucks", I would like to create an incentive system by creating a special day called, "Book Tasting Party" event each month in my classroom where students can cash in their "Eagle Bucks" to celebrate their success!
On our monthly "Book Tasting Party" event, I will serve up different books for kids to sample for a short while. Students will use their "Eagle Bucks" to sample the different requested books as well as do arts and craft projects relating to the books. Students will have to budget their "Eagle Bucks" and spend wisely so they can participate in their chosen activities. Thank you in advance for helping my second graders have monthly "Book Tasting Party" events while teaching students financial literacy and celebrate their success this school year.
