Hello donors, Play in an essential part of childhood education. Play gives students an opportunity to develop social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. More than ever, I believe that my first graders this year need more opportunities to develop these skills. My first graders are coming into school with zero school experiences due to the pandemic. With the items on my list, I believe students will develop coordination, physical confidence, they will learn to manage stress, it will help them develop language skills, cooperation, collaboration, conflict resolution, empathy, and experience joy! The items on my list will help the students in my classroom with play that goes beyond recess. Every week my students will have an opportunity to explore different play stations that will promote different developmental skills. My goal is for students to explore, create, share, and find joy in play. Any donation will be greatly appreciate, thank you.
