The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be used to help create a more exciting classroom library. The bookshelf will be used to display themed books for the month/season. The supplies will be used to create book bags for the students to take home. My students LOVE to take their work home to show their parents what they learned. I can't wait to see how excited they get when they get to take stories home! Many students have also mentioned they do not have any books at home to read so they aren't able to practice. The donations to this project will help improve the classroom/home connection, but also improve their reading skills and confidence in reading. Your donations will encourage my students to love reading, at school and at home. Thank you for making a difference in their lives!
