According to Nevada's Social, Emotional and Academic Development (SEAD), students need to: understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish/maintain positive relationships and make responsible decisions across diverse cultural contexts. What better way than through play with board games and reading books that are diverse.

We need games and books that will encourage language output and interpersonal skills.
