These chapter books will definitely focus on ELA standards, especially RL3.1,3.2,3.4, 3.5, 3.7, 3.10. Students will utilize these chapter books during Enrichment time when they conduct their Literature Circles. After almost a whole school year of no face to face interaction with their peers, these chapter books will provide an opportunity for students in small groups to practice quality discourse and communication skills to help them enrich their learning. Students will find hope, inspiration, joy, soothing and calming entertainment throughout their reading, which was kind of lost during the pandemic.

About my class
