I believe every Kindergarten teacher needs a rug in their classroom. I feel that is the most important time of the day when we are together learning, whether it is singing the months of the year, or enjoying a good book read aloud.
COVID has changed the way teachers have to teach. That why I think headphones are a must to go with the iPads we already have. Headphones can really block out unwanted distractions in the classroom or quarantined at home. I use great educational websites such as Seesaw that the kids enjoy. Unfortunately, it can get loud in the classroom and students have a hard time focusing in able to learn.
