For the last year and a half, my students have experienced a “COVID school”. Since they started Kindergarten, school has been filled with masks, social distancing, and virtual learning. My students are still having to partake in recess with only their own class and only on an actual playground once a week (due to COVID). My students also have lunch with only their own class. These kids would benefit greatly from an outlet for their energy in the classroom. Flexible seating would give them a chance to wiggle and move while still learning and growing academically!
