All of these resources will promote developmental growth in my classroom. Five year olds learn best through movement, socializing and exploration. All of the items I am requesting support that. The wobble chairs promote student learning by being able to better focus during small group instruction at my table. The supply caddy will be full of supplies for students to use to share and create projects. The book bins will be filled with books and manipulatives and allow enough storage so individual and small groups of students can explore and learn together. The hands on materials will allow individuals and small groups to explore, learn, socialize and create. Listed below are some of the specific kindergarten standards my items address:
