Speakers- Music is an essential part of dance class. It's how we learn to move as a group and is the source of the as the kids say... the vibe. Currently our speakers crackle and take me 2-3 minutes to mess with before they play. With new speakers we can get to more dancing which means more learning! Yoga Mats- As part of our injury prevention and maintain the brain lessons, dancers are asked to build internal awareness to strengthen dance skills. The pain part of being a dancer is the learn the skill of self correction. Mats give us a dedicated space to focus on our mind and body and will be much more comfortable than the floor. LED Lights- We are preparing for 2 shows this year, and nothing works better than giving the dancers a sneak peak of the excitement. LED lights are an inexpensive way to create some fun in the room and get the students thinking about their performances. Grades 9,10,11,12
