I included many literacy center activities that are engaging and appealing to the early learners. I have also chosen book baggies so the students can shop for level readers in the library and have opportunity to bring the level readers home to practice with families. The book baggies are motivation to read outside of the classroom.
With setbacks such as Hurricane Ida and COVID-19, the students have had less time in the classroom. These purchases will push students to stay focus despite the challenges outside of school. I want to make reading fun. I believe the literacy activities along with the book baggies are a great way to excel these little people to be better readers.
