My students will have fun playing several games in this rug while learning. They will seat in the carpet to listen read alouds. It is important for preschoolers to be in close proximity to the teacher and the object they are paying attention to.
They will play games such as finding letters, sound, beginning letter and sound of a word, shapes, making matches, and colors.
My students will be learning letter naming, phonemic awareness, alliteration without noticing. They will also use the rug to make a circle for circle time and four our Social Emotional Learning activities by seating in a circle and facing each other.
