The materials I am requesting will be used to help my students grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Having spent twelve months participating in distance learning, it is so important that we have rich, meaningful books that will not only help us grow as readers, but help us grow emotionally and socially.
I am requesting literature that with help my students socially and emotionally. As we read the stories and make connections, we will be able to have meaningful discussions that can help students socially and emotionally.
Having their own copy of most of the materials will allow students to read at school and at home. Students will be able to locate and highlight/underline evidence to questions, and annotate their thinking as they read. This will help my students grow academically.
As we find our way back to our new normal, I want to give my students these extra opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
