This year myself and the school counselor have been teaching targeted lessons with a vision to improve the social emotional skills of our students who are in great need of practice after the pandemic. Research shows cooperative activities, such as games are a great way for students to practice these skills. The resources will allow students to learn in a fun and engaging manner. All students want to learn to play together and this class focuses on cooperation and problem solving along with many other social emotion skills. We will continue to reinforce these skills throughout the year.
