I work with emotionally disturbed students. Many of my students have traumas from their past that can affect their learning. These materials will help give my students the tools for better flexible seating, learning tools to be more hands-on learning, games for breaks when they are earned, and items that they can use to help de-escalate when they are feeling angry or explosive. These tools can help my students be engaged for a longer period of time as well as to stay on task for the entire task. My students learn all subjects in the classroom and these items can be used throughout the day to help my students learn successful coping strategies while learning things that are challenging as well as to gain the knowledge to close their learning gap.
