Kindergarten students are at a prime age to learn how to interact and engage with eachother. Play allows students to use their creativity and imagination in various ways. With age appropriate materials within my classroom, students will be able to experience and pretend real life experiences. When I allow my students to play they are developing their brains and learning how to act in certain social situations. My students also are introduced to flexibilty when it comes to having to work among side others. When children have the opportunities to play within the classroom they become excited for what is to come within the classroom.
