I have terrific students in Hawaii who come from such a wide variety of cultures. In one classroom, I have students from the Philipines, Japan, China, Vietnam, Marshall Islands, Guam, Taiwan, Vietnam, American Samoa, and Native Hawaiians. I also have students who are multiracial, and are very proud of all the ethnicities that make them unique. They are all students who embrace Hawaii, but also are proud of their individuality.

About my class
