Kindergartners love hand-on activities! They love colorful pictures and bright colors. A color printer in our classroom would help us to create new and exciting learning centers for my students to practice their letters and sounds, rhyming and reading skills. We could also create colorful math manipulatives and math center activities as well. We could easily print pictures of animals, places, and people to help us with our writing. We would be able to print awards and pictures of our class and individual students to hang in our classroom and to send home celebrating our successes.
A colored printer would allow for me to send home engaging activities for all of my students and especially those students that have to quarantine at home throughout the current school year and future years.
The centers are fun & engaging and will allow my students to explore other ways of practicing standards in math and reading.
