These materials will allow my students to have smaller group sizes. Smaller group sizes will allow my students to have more hands on time building and interacting with the robotics kit. These kits will be used in my classroom, as we are in school the full 5 days per week. These kits will also help inspire my students to join the First LEGO League robotics club that I am also running afterschool. My students are presented projects that have them solve a problem. They use the engineering design process to come up with solutions. They build and code their robot and present their ideas to the class.
