Our class consists of students 10 students who receive instruction from the Life Skills curriculum. My students are funny, creative and lively!! They enjoy making others smile and that's why they choose a coffee cart as their project. They enjoy being a part of the school community. They often feel separated from their school community, but their coffee cart allows them to interact with all students and staff and that gives them pride in their education.
Our students have learning differences and it is important for them to learn life skills in order for them to be productive citizens in the world. They all have ambitions of going to college, working and living on their own. Our coffee cart with allow them to practice their skills and to achieve their life skills goals.
The hope for our coffee cart is for it to grow into our very own coffee shop within our school.
