Learning is not always one-dimensional and being able to move and learn can be so powerful. As a school psychologist, I work really hard to teach coping skills to students that they can then implement in the classroom. My office is a safe place where students are able to learn in the way that best fits them, which often times includes moving.
My hope is that these seats will help students become better learners of social/coping skills and, therefore, better versions of themselves both within and outside of the classroom.
