The different activities and games will help my native Spanish speakers learn English. The English Language Development Reading Comprehension Center will help students to learn to improve overall reading comprehension through questioning techniques and identifying main idea and characters in a text. The English Language Development Vocabulary Center will help students learn to identify, sort and read vocabulary. The Write the Letter Activity Center will be particularly useful for ELL newcomers and Kindergarten students who are just learning the alphabet. Once students gain confidence in basic English, the games and activities will become an enjoyable center for students to work both independently and in a group. The computer paper will allow me to print copies of books for individual student use. It is so important to for students to be able to interact with things they read, and a personal copy of books will allow them to write, draw and remember the stories they read. The products that I have selected will help me better instruct my students by improving classroom visuals.
