We are trying to make everyday in our classroom engaging and worthwhile for our students. The only real trouble we have is sound quality in the classroom. We do a lot of discussion based activities, often using video clips to exemplify what the students activities should look like, sound like, & occasionally these videos are the foundation to our lessons.
A speaker system would greatly benefit our student's abilities to participate and enjoy lessons with media involvement. It is difficult to know how some students have been disproportionately disadvantaged and are now continuing to see unequal resource distribution in their own school. We are seeing how the distance from speaker to student affects what is understood, and taking note of how to adapt, and for now the gift of sound would benefit us most.
