The clay still life, various animal project, non-objective clay sculptures my student artists will embark on this school year will foster effective work habits, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem solving which prepares them for life in the 21st century. All art students from grades K-5 at our school will be able to conceive and develop artistic work and ideas. They will understand, evaluate, interpret the meaning of artistic work. They will be able to relate artistic ideas that have social, cultural, and historical meaning. VA:Cr2.3.1, VA:Cr2.4.1, VA:Cr2.5.1 Given the opportunity to delve in the arts prepares them for the real world.
