The books will help build and enhance our print-rich classroom library. My vision of a classroom library is an inviting, colorfully decorated, organized place where students can pick books, and cultivate a love of reading. The second part of my project is a poetry corner with printed poems with pictures that students can read and color. I have picked containers; transparent dry erase pockets and pouches where students can store their books and poems in a healthy COVID-free manner. Every book and every poem will bring great joy to my students. The books and printed poems will help inspire my students to read and promote a healthy growth mindset. Students will be able to choose books they enjoy for independent reading and keep them in their book pouches, and they will have access to new poems daily. The document camera will help me project poems to all our students.
