I will be using these reading and math materials during small group instructional time. I will have 4 reading stations set up and students will rotate through these stations using the materials from above. These stations will be fun and engaging and I know the students will be able to reinforce the skills they are working on to help them become fluent readers. Students will have loads of fun while practicing their reading skills. They will rotate through daily work stations such as; the listening center, the sound card center, and building words center. All of these will help students become more confident in their reading and hopefully create a love for reading. We will also be using the addition and subtraction cards to become fluent in our math facts. This is an important skill to develop in first grade.
