Carpet time is vital for young learners. It is where MOST of the daily instruction occurs. The students are taught the overall objective from each subject and are able to interact with their peers. They share ideas and strategies with each other also. Carpet is also used for center activities. Students use their manipulatives, both letters and numbers, complete puzzles, and a variety of activities on the carpet. It is almost impossible not to have a carpet in a Pre-K classroom.
By donating to our project, you will ultimately help increase student achievement. You will help improve and increase student attention and focus, as well as, provide a clean space for them to interact.
