I teach students whose first language is Spanish and we are learning the English language. My students range from beginner to advanced high, but being able to have the text read to them at their own pace and comprehension level is huge. This will help students continue to grow and develop their skills while not interrupting the learning environment of others. It blocks out the noise from others, which is why these are great to use in the classroom and at home.
Headphones are also a great necessity because it allows the student to not be embarrassed about their reading comprehensions level being different from their peers.
