Students use BrainPOP to learn about a variety of topics from Math, to Social Studies, Science, English, and Reading. They enjoy being able to watch videos on the topics, play games, learn new vocabulary, explore coding an word-mapping, and then quiz on newly acquired knowledge.
"Time for Kids" magazine provides students with current events and real life issues happening in the world around them.
It enhances reading skills, as well as Social Science awareness.
Both of these programs were not funded by our school due to budget cuts. They are greatly missed by students and teachers alike. They can be used at school and home, regardless of what learning platforms are presented to us this year in school.
