My students have lost their gym space because of Covid. We have been creative in ways to get our heart rates up, and I have been teaching them about the importance of exercising. It would be amazing if I could show them how to achieve their working heart rate in "real time." My students would be absolutely enthralled to have this technology and I believe it would inspire my students to be more active in class. These heart rate monitors would motivate more students to get moving during class. Right now I have good participation, however there are still many who are on the fence. I believe this project would help get those students involved.
