Our classroom currently has old whiteboards with the backing showing. They are not magnetic and are difficult to write on. It is difficult to create a warm and welcoming classroom environment when resources cannot be attached to the board. I know my students deserve better. The students are so good about keeping our classroom environment clean and ready for learning. They have tried "cleaning" the whiteboards. It broke my heart to have to tell them that they couldn't clean the whiteboards as they are just old and not dirty. This inspired me to DO BETTER for my students.
