The resources requested will promote the Nevada Academic Content Standards by helping my students keep their computers charged at school and home. We will meet RL. 9-10.10 by reading, analyzing, and developing our ideas about our texts using our Chromebooks. We will also be completing our writing projects to meet standards W.9-10.2 and W.9-10.6 using our technology. Students who are unable to charge their devices will no longer miss out on the opportunity to engage with their peers.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, my students have struggled with adapting to the classroom environment; incorporating in-seat fidgets will assist my students in their focus. In addition, by organizing the supplies I have, students will be better able to access and utilize them as necessary, cutting down on wasted class time.
Finally, the other resources will be used to assist my students in having durable, reusable materials in order to complete hands-on analyses of our texts, meeting standard RI.9-10.4.
