As of right now students are sharing shoulder rests which is not ideal as they can not have them at home to practice. This impacts them wanting to practice and their success in playing the instrument. It is also not ideal because of COVID with students sharing materials.
Shoulder rests are an essential item for violinist and violist success in learning to play the instrument. With these should rests students could avoid pain and be able to practice at home as they do at school. And every student will have a shoulder rests for our combined concerts.
