It will give my students the ability to explore engineering and STEM. My students will benefit from hands-on manipulatives and materials in the areas of creative thinking, critical thinking, logic and reasoning, and math.
Students will use the Keva Planks in a variety of ways including building and engineering, patterns, symmetry, collaboration, problem solving and more!
With so much screen time during distance learning, manipulatives will provide a welcome brain break for students to explore with in the library.
When students can hold the materials in their hands, and manipulate them on their own, student engagement increases dramatically.
These materials will give each child a chance to have them at their finger tips. Due to COVID-19, we are in need of many manipulatives to ensure all students have materials to use during lessons, and that proper sanitizing can happen between uses.
