Some of my students come from homes with limited resources. They are students in Special Education and they need to acquire functional, survival skills such as money skills, a very difficult concept for them to grasp. The color printer would help with practicing money skills (black and white are not conducive, they need to see the coins In color, as well as other objects and symbols found in the community). They love sports but I do not have the equipment that I would need to reward them and also teach them cooperative group activities.
