Now that we are no longer virtual and preparing to release our second issue, the Creative Arts Journal staff is in need of the tools to showcase our student body's art in a professional manner. Many of our submissions consist of sketches, paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc. These mediums of art need to be photographed with a high resolution digital camera for online publishing. With the cameras, the staff will be able to capture the true beauty of the art that is submitted to them. They will also be able to enter the magazine into competitions for awards and recognition.
By donating to this project you will be helping my students excel in Imaginative Writing standards 5, 6, and 8; in which they will practice ethical publishing by creating and editing their own images to publish in the magazine. As well as, Journalism standards 6.3 and 6.5, in which they learn to effectively use photography in digital print and evaluate it's effectiveness in layouts.
