My students are incredibly creative and curious. They love anytime I'm able to give them something "new" (toys, project, etc.). By providing them with these STEM materials, they'll be able to use their minds in different ways to manipulate and build with new materials. I plan to put these in the bins and have students work with others to encourage collaboration and problem-solving.
These materials will also help my students work on their fine motor skills. Items like this will keep students engaged, thinking, and curious. I love that these items can be used in so many ways; this will push my students to think beyond their initial idea!
