These materials and items will support my students in Social/Emotional, and educational pursuits. Helping my students understand the emotions they are feeling and how to deal with them in social, school, and home settings is just as important as their schooling. We use whiteboards daily in my classroom during Math, Writing, and Phonics (RF.1, L.1, L.2, & 1.OA). Using them makes observing student work more efficient. The chart stand will be used in conjunction with the whiteboards, especially during writing modeling strategies.
Engaging my students with fun, innovative strategies will not only increase their interest, but also their participation! Thinking of the fun my kids will have using and tossing the microphone ball back and forth as they increase their Speaking and Listening skills (SL.1.1-3) is so encouraging! With your help we can encourage these at-risk students become the best they can be.
