Help me begin to introduce flexible seating in my high school special education classroom! I am striving to meet the very unique needs of each and every one of my students. They have moderate to severe disabilities and while I can adapt my teaching to their needs, I have noticed that many of my students are needing more. They stay in their desks all day and I strongly feel that by offering flexible seating they will be able to learn better.
I can provide the best instruction possible, but if students are uncomfortable, day dreaming or need to be moving to stay focused my instruction is pointless. I absolutely love my students and I want to provide the best education possible for them. By investing in my classroom, you will be investing in my 18 amazing students.
