The students will have access to reading and writing lessons that will increase their visual discrimination and concept formation. Early Literacy Skills Builder and Early Reading Skills Builder are two apps offered on the iPad that align with the curriculum for the Lifeskills unit. The printed version of these programs are enormous and too detailed for student to adequately benefit successfully. The iPad will help bring the student closer to accessing the app version of these programs. They are easier to access and will help the student be more independent.
