All of my students do better when they have hands-on activities and materials that they can use while learning new academic concepts. In addition, flexible seating provides opportunities for students to stay focused on a specific task which enhances their learning experience. My students love collaborating with their peers. Their interactions with each other daily, not only increase academic learning, but these opportunities improve their social and emotional stability.
The math materials, games, and flexible seating options I have selected will help my students gain a better understanding of a variety of new concepts, encourage collaborative learning, and motivate them to become life-long learners.
