This project will assist my special education resource students in filling their achievement gaps created by distance learning last school year. My students need hands-on and interactive resources to build their ELA abilities throughout this school year. I am confident that with these resources, my students will make growth by May 2021. I am also including supplies that will keep our resource classroom organized and clean for instruction.
My students will be excited to use StoryWorks 2 as part of our reading curriculum and using writing journals to build their stamina. The NVAC Standards that this project applies to are the following in ELA reading and writing: ELA-LITERACY.W.3.1.A, ELA-LITERACY.W.4.1, ELA-LITERACY.W.5.1.A, ELA-LITERACY.RF.3.3, ELA-LITERACY.RF.4.3, and ELA-LITERACY.RF.5.3.
