Simple:
My students with Autism want to learn how to play an instrument so that when they graduate, they have a hobby they enjoy that they can carry with them for a lifetime. Plus, music is a universal language that they all understand, regardless of functioning level, and they will all unite behind the common goal of learning basic guitar.
Also, heavens forbid, another COVID outbreak occurs, at least they can continue learning how to play guitar easily online and even (possibly) take their guitars home to get them through the limitless waves that may come due to the unforeseeable variants that are still emerging.
This grant will greatly help with this project and my students with Autism will be forever grateful.
Thank you for your time.
