These items will help our students engage in pretend play that will look more like the homes from which they come. They will encourage discussion among classmates about what we have in common and how we are different. Our students will increase their social emotional skills and self regulation skills by offering familiar and diverse options at our free choice center time.
Adaptive and building toys will help all students develop and improve dexterity and problem solving skills, while using their imaginations. This will be a huge help to our special needs students as well as our typically developing students.
