These book sets will be used in my guided reading groups. Students will take these books home, read to their family members and partner read with their classmates. I aim for a print rich environment with high interest books. (Reading standard RF 1.3 and RF 1.4)
The stories that I ordered from the story book collection are first grade classic stories. My students will love hearing them. We will read and discuss the characters, setting, problem and solution (Reading standard RL 1.3). This will deepen their comprehension, language skills, and love of literature.
Finally, the Lakeshore phonics activities will help my students sound out and decode words. Thank you so much for your support. I love teaching first grade!
