Our Pre-K students are no different as first timers attending schools, it is during pandemic that their families have had to endure and provide them supporting learning environment that focuses on their social emotional needs.
Our curriculum heavily focuses on students' social emotional learning, while also preparing them for the work they will do in Kindergarten.
These resources will help support literature learning at home as students will be able to take books home to engage family activities. Specifically, these books will support standards 2.PK.1, 2.PK.2, and 2.PK.3 (early literacy skills). Additionally, these books will support 1.PK.1b, 3.PK.1 (feelings), and 6.PK.1c (social emotional learning).
As early learners, we want to build these skills through literature so that students are successful and prepared for Kindergarten.
