My students will be able to use the different modalities in order to watch interactive videos, use speech to text technology, as well as engage in meaningful conversations at this early stage of their educational development. For example, the class will be using a chrome book to create math slides, then show and explain to their peers on the large screen what they created. We will go on interactive trips to zoos, museums, and local firehouses so students can "step outside" of their classroom! We will view videos to jump start new topics and help build challenging vocabulary. Furthermore, this will undoubtedly increase both their engagement and most important motivation for the lessons being presented.
