This project includes Choices magazine and the addition of culturally diverse classroom books. This project will not only promote social-emotional growth, but will allow students to develop knowledge while practicing reading skills. This magazine addresses issues that are relevant to teens’ daily life. It makes learning fun and engaging for students. Choices magazine is an engaging way for students to grow emotionally, build knowledge, and develop stronger reading skills. With the addition of the books to my classroom library, my students will be well-rounded and ready to deal with life's challenges. Standards addressed: RI 9-10.10 and RL 9-10.10
