Clay is one medium that promotes creativity. It is especially beneficial to young people. It helps provide a new way of expression and creativity in a away that they may not have tried before
There are many benefits from using clay such as It develops fine motor skills, and improves hand-eye coordination. Not only does it help physically for young artists it also is very calming and encourages social skills and creativity. Many of they skills unfortunately have suffered with online learning.
With the addition of clay in my art room I hope to close some of these gaps and promote a fun, imaginative and creative environment.
