As a counselor at Cheyenne High School, my role is to address the needs of students in three specific domains: Academic, Post-Secondary, and Social/Emotional. The in my cart was chosen to address these specific areas. For example, the coloring books and journals address social-emotional issues. Snacks and games also address social-emotional as my students often come to school hungry and stressed. The snacks hold them over until their lunch, while games promote stress relief and anxiety.
The college and scholarship books address post-secondary. I requested the punch card to encourage students to earn good grades.
